Opt-out guide
How to opt out of AnyWho and remove your name
AnyWho's removal route has moved, and that is the single most useful thing to know about it. Older guides send you to a footer link that no longer exists or to Intelius. Incogni's 2026 guide reports that anywho.com's privacy policy now directs all data-removal requests to Spokeo's opt-out tool, so that is where the request is actually made.
AnyWho's opt-out requests are processed on Spokeo's system, so one request can cover more than one site. Check both afterwards rather than assuming.
Wondering whether AnyWho is even legitimate first? Read our honest AnyWho check for what it is, what regulators have said about it, and what it exposes.

Good to know
- Sources disagree on where AnyWho removals go. Optery's directory still lists an Intelius suppression URL, while Incogni's 2026 guide says the privacy policy now points at Spokeo. We have gone with the more recent and more specific account, and could not test it directly because both sites block automated access.
- If the Spokeo route does not find your AnyWho listing, the PeopleConnect suppression centre is the fallback worth trying, since several sites in this family route there.
- Because the request is really a Spokeo opt-out, our Spokeo guide covers the same process in more detail.
Spokeo re-ingests public records continuously, so a listing can return every few months. Re-check and repeat.
