How to opt out of TruthFinder and remove your name
TruthFinder is another PeopleConnect brand using the shared Suppression Center. The free opt-out needs your email and date of birth. Residents of California, Virginia, Connecticut, Utah, and Colorado have extra deletion rights you can invoke if a listing is stubborn.

Step-by-step removal

Open the opt-out / suppression page
Go to truthfinder.com/opt-out/, or from the footer click Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information, then View Public Data Tools and Manage My Suppression Rules.

Enter and verify your email
Type your email into the Suppression Center and click the confirmation link that is emailed to you.

Confirm identity with date of birth
Enter your date of birth and, optionally, any alternate names you have used, so the system can match your records.

Select and suppress your record
Pick your matching record, choose Suppressed from the Desired Behavior dropdown, and click Save. Complete any extra identity check if prompted.

- No paid TruthFinder account is required and the opt-out is free.
- Residents of California, Virginia, Connecticut, Utah, and Colorado have additional deletion and do-not-sell rights.
- Suppression here may also apply to sibling PeopleConnect brands because of the shared platform.
Your profile can resurface as TruthFinder pulls in fresh public-records data, so periodically re-search your name and repeat the suppression if a new listing appears.
