How to opt out of Instant Checkmate and remove your name
Instant Checkmate is a PeopleConnect brand that emphasizes criminal and arrest records. Its free opt-out uses the shared Suppression Center and needs your email plus date of birth. No paid account is required.

Step-by-step removal

Open the opt-out page
Go to instantcheckmate.com/opt-out/ (or use the footer Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link, then View Public Data Tools).

Find your record
Use the search bar to locate your public profile by first and last name, then identify the listing that matches you.

Verify by email and date of birth
Enter your email in the Suppression Center and click the confirmation link sent to it, then supply your date of birth to verify identity.

Suppress the record
Select your matching record, set Desired Behavior to Suppressed, and click Save. You never need a paid account to do this.

Good to know
- Opting out is free and does not require a paid Instant Checkmate account.
- Because PeopleConnect brands share a back end, suppressing here can also cover sibling sites - but confirm each separately.
- A separate Delete My User Data path removes data tied to an email address after confirmation.
Listings can reappear because the broker continuously ingests new public-records and data-partner feeds, so re-check your name every few months and re-suppress if needed.
