How to opt out of InfoTracer and remove your name
InfoTracer lets you clear several records in one sitting: after each removal a Back to Result button returns you to the same search, which is unusual in a category where most sites make you start again. It carries court and criminal record content, so an inaccurate listing here does more damage than most.

Step-by-step removal

Open the opt-out page
From infotracer.com click Exercise My Privacy Rights at the bottom, or go straight to infotracer.com/optout/.

Search for yourself
Enter your first and last name, choose your state, add your city and click Submit.

Clear the check
Tick the verification box before the results will display.

Select the record
Find your record, tick Select Record, then click the red Remove Data button that appears.

Submit with an email
Enter an email address, add a reason if you want to, clear the CAPTCHA and click Submit.

Repeat for other records
Use Back to Result to return to the same results and repeat for any other record that is yours.

Confirm by email
Open the InfoTracer email and click the confirmation link to verify the removal.

Good to know
- Back to Result is the time-saver here - use it rather than re-running the search for each record.
- Because InfoTracer surfaces court and criminal records, check the listing for accuracy before removing it; an error here is worth documenting first.
Removal clears the records held at the time. New public-record and directory batches can rebuild a listing later, so re-search your name every few months and repeat the request for anything new.
